| Nuros launches the new E-XL Aortic Stent |
| The new E-XL aortic stent from JOTEC® is a self-expandable nitinol stent for the treatment of lesions of the thoracic aorta and vena cava. It is especially useful in the treatment of dissections or stenoses and may also be used for endograft repair. |
| The E-XL stent features flared ends for optimal vessel fixation and five tantal markers at each end of the stent to ensure excellent visibility. Stent lengths vary from 100mm to 130mm and diameters are from 14mm right up to 36mm. |
| The stent structure at the flared ends is a closed-cell design ensuring maximal radial force, whilst the central section features an open cell design for maximum flexibility. |
| The Squeeze-to-Release® deployment system ensures controlled and precise positioning.
